Apply for Church Sponsorship (For Parents/Guardians)

  1. First, contact your church to ask about their camp sponsorship program and how to apply. Each church may have a slightly different process (for example, filling out a sponsorship form or speaking with a church leader).

  2. Submit your sponsorship application to the church. They will review requests and decide how much of the camp cost they are able to cover for each family.

  3. Once the church confirms that your child has been approved for sponsorship, you will be asked to complete the Salem Acres registration form(either paper or online). Whether you are paying a deposit for your registration will depend on how much your church is covering. If you are not paying anything, go through all the steps to register and then click "Third Party Payment" in order to register for camp, but not to pay at this time. Without completing this step, your child will not be registered unless you complete all steps, including selecting a payment method.

  4. (only if you fill out a paper registration form)Return the completed Salem Acres registration form to the church.

  5. (only if you fill out a paper registration form)The church will send your form to the Salem Acres Registrar, along with information about how much of the registration fee they are sponsoring.

  6. (only if you fill out a paper registration form)The Registrar will enter your child’s information into the online registration system.

  7. After the registration has been processed, the church will receive a confirmation email from the Registrar letting them know the registration is complete.

  8. At that point, your child’s spot at camp is secured, and you can start getting ready for an amazing camp experience!
