June Work Bee

Hey there! We wanted to extend an invitation to you for a fun and productive work bee on June 17th. We have a ton of exciting projects to tackle as we gear up for summer, and we would be thrilled to have your help, no matter your skill level. Plus, we'll make sure to provide plenty of yummy food for all our hardworking volunteers. We appreciate you taking the time to consider this awesome opportunity to make a real difference. Thanks!

List of Tasks:

Outdoor Cabins (Depends on what's left)

•  Shower Surround 
• Drywall 
• Finishing Mudding and Tapping 
• Painting/Cleaning  
• Installing floors 
• Installing counters  
• Installing sinks/toilet

Yard Care 

• Lawn Mowing  
• Weed Wacking  
• Garbage removal  

Shooting Range

• Lawn Care 
• Removal of remaining fencing and scrap wood 
• Move the Archery Range  
• Pressure wash and clean shed for throwing knives/axes 
• Build targets and barriers in the throwing range shed   

 Dining Hall Complex

• Clean windows (Out/In) 
• Clean program office, maintenance office and nurse’s cabin 
• General clean of floors and surfaces throughout 
• Clean Deck, fix any broken boards.

Chapel

• Clean Windows (Out/In) 
• Remove shelf  
• Fix any damaged game tables 
• General clean of floors and surfaces throughout   
• Fixing Chapel Bathroom (Door, baseboards)  

Aframe

• Clean Windows (In)  
• Fix and/or remove any damaged furniture 
• General clean of floors and surfaces throughout   

Shops

• Install new lights in Carpentry Shop  
• Clean the area around the shops  
• Organize ladders 
• Organize Pipe   

Cooking

Anybody who wants to come out and cook for the work bee is welcome and appreciated as well. Food is provided for both lunch and supper.
