How to find us
Campers are expected to arrange their own transportation to Salem Acres.
Please contact your camp's director if you are interested in carpooling from Calgary or Edmonton.
Salem Acres is located on the north side of Highway 590, 70 kilometres east of Highway 2 at Innisfail.
From Calgary: take Highway 2 north to Innisfail and turn east onto Highway 590. You will see us on your left at the top of the Red Deer River hill, about 19 kilometres east of the stop sign at Highway 21. Travel time is approximately two hours.
From Red Deer and Edmonton: take Highway 2 south to Innisfail and turn east onto Highway 590. You will see us on your left at the top of the Red Deer River hill, about 19 kilometres east of the stop sign at Highway 21. Travel time is one hour from Red Deer and two-and-a-half hours from Edmonton.
